Flex Seal spray is basically liquid rubber in a can. It is one of those products you say, “Why didn’t I think of that? I could have been a millionaire!” I may not have invented it but I did write a Flex Seal review so those who are wondering if Flex Seal is any good they can find out first hand.

The reason I think Flex Seal is so wildly popular is because of two reasons. First, it works. It does what it says it will do. Two, it is the cheapest and fastest way to seal almost any material. Now, that is a win-win situation.

Flex Seal liquid rubber is used to seal cracks that you want to be 100% water tight. The material in Flex Seal is flexible enough to mold into any shape. This way you can truly make it to fit into any crack or crevice you want to seal. Flex Seal spray is easy to use. Just point and shoot. It is strong enough to last for many years. Flex Seal is the only spray on sealant that I found that will not lose its resiliency or integrity due to changing, or even constant, weather conditions. So, you can spray on Flex seal in the hot summer and it will still keep it’s seal in cold winter weather. This is a huge advantage over any other liquid rubber sealant I have seen.

As all the other Flex Seal reviews I have read said, it is a “durable, thick rubberized mastic, liquid coating developed to be applied from a spray can”. The liquid rubber spray will seep into cracks and holes and dry to a water tight, flexible rubber seal. It will hold its shape despite the weather and maintain a water tight seal.

When it dries Flex Seal is black . At first I thought that might be a problem because you may not want a big black stripe down the middle of your project. But I found it can be painted any color. I have used Flex Seal to fill cracks to prevent leakage, but, according to other Flex Seal product reviews it can also be used to stop vibrations and provide better insulation. Flex Seal will also abate noise when it is used on doors and windows. Flex Seal can be used on roofs, concrete retaining walls outside or the concrete wall in the basement, pipes, gutters, swimming pools and almost anything else that needs fixing.

One large can of Flex Seal will cover two to eight square feet, depending on the thickness and material that is applied. That may not sound like a lot of space but trust me when you start using it you’ll see it really is quit a bit. If you need more coverage one jumbo can will cover 2 to 12 square feet. The really good news is during the Flex Seal introductory offer they will send you two regular size cans for the price of one regular size can! That is a bargain for sure! With this offer you’ll get more coverage for less money than buying one jumbo size Flex Seal can.

Flex Seal couldn’t be easier to use. To apply Flex Seal, shake the can well and spray on a clean surface in a sweeping motion from a distance of about 12 inches. I found for best results you should apply several coats instead of one thick coat. Spray a slightly larger area than necessary and feather around the edge. After each use, invert the can and apply a brief burst of product to clear the spray nozzle. Recover the can, before storing.

Drying time depends on the thickness of the coat, the humidity and temperature.  Flex Seal will often dry to the touch in a few hours and will be fully cured in about 24 hours. Flex Seal can be applied to a wet surface, but it will require a much longer drying time. Flex Seal will adhere much better to a dry, clean surface, but it is not always possible to work with a clean, dry surface. I have never tried this, but it is possible to spray the adhesive in the pouring rain, but a strong rain may wash the liquid rubber away if the area is not protected while applying the product.

If you have any project you need to water proof or make water tight you have to try this great product. When I wrote this Flex Seal review they were offering two cans for the price of one can. Don’t miss this offer!

Flex Seal Spray

Flex Seal Spray – My Experience with Flex Seal Spray

I found Flex Seal Spray to be an easy to use rubber sealant that comes in a spray can. It is applied as a liquid spray and is used to plug cracks, crevices and small holes. Flex Seal Spray forms a rubber barrier to prevent leaking. Flex seal is designed to withstand water pressure and changes in temperature. Flex seal will not soften and drip in the hot temperatures and will not harden and crack in the cold temperatures.

Flex Seal Spray is liquid rubber in a can. It seeps into holes, crevices and cracks and takes the form of the area it filled. After the material cures, it will stay watertight and flexible. This is important as the seal will be able to contract and expand with the material around it as the temperature changes.

Flex Seal Spray can be used on almost anything that leaks. I found Flex Seal Spray to work great on my cracked basement wall that would leak every time it rained or the snow melted in the spring. The application is quick and easy and takes a few minutes to repair most cracks, crevices or holes. The directions are easy to follow – start with a clean area that is free from dirt, dust and grime and spray the material into the crack, crevice or hole. Let the Flex Seal dry for at least 24 hours before painting. The Flex Seal material will dry black.

Flex Seal can be used around windows and doors to prevent leakage as well as provide additional insulation. The product can also be used on pipes, roofs, gutters, around skylights and swimming pools to name a few of the possible applications. A large container of Flex Seal Spray will cover two to eight square feet and the jumbo container will cover two to twelve square feet. The actual coverage will depend on the thickness of the application and the material it is applied to. Manufacturers recommend two light applications rather than one thick application.

Flex Seal Spray has become the “go to” home repair product for me. It is fairly inexpensive compared to other sealants on the market, and ease of use makes it just right for those do it yourselfers, such as myself, who are not professional repair people. The Flex Seal fix is not a temporary fix, but one that will last for years.

Flex Seal spray is best applied under dry conditions, but it can be applied under wet conditions. If you have to apply Flex Seal in the rain, make sure the work area is protected so the spray is not washed away with the rain. Flex Seal will reach complete cure in about 24 hours, but if used in wet conditions, the drying time may be longer. After Flex seal has dried completely, and it will dry black, it can be painted any color of choice. You will find no easier way to fix a leaky anything than with Flex Seal Spray.

You can’t buy Flex Seal spray in stores, not even Home Depot. But you can get a great deal, two cans for the price of one directly from Flex Seal website. Click the link below to see their special offer.
